Coach's Corner

	Melissa Armstrong I have been a member of the MFSC for 19 years. First as a skater at the age of 5, than as a Program Assistant and now as a Coach. I am returning to coaching full time as I have completed my Teaching Degree. This will be my 5th year as a NCCP Level 1 Coach. I have been Carnival Director for 4 shows and I am this year's 2008-2009 Coach's Representative. I have completed my Senior Bronze Free Skate, Dance and Skills Tests. I have instructed skaters from the Beginner to Junior Bronze level. I will teach all disciplines but my strength is with Free Skate. I am also certified to coach Can-Power Skating. I am looking forward to a great skating season!
	Dawn Cumby-Dallin I started skating at the age of 9 at Orono FSC. I moved to the Bowmanville FSC at age 15. I have achieved up to Senior Silver Dance, Junior Silver Freeskate and Senior Bronze Skills skating tests. At 12 years old became an Amateur Coach (now know as Program Assistant). I have completed NCCP Level 1 and started coaching professionally in 2001. I have almost completed NCCP Level 2 and plan on starting NCCP Level 3. I teach all levels and disciplines of figure skating through CanSkate to STARSkate Gold test levels. I began teaching at Millbrook FSC 4 years ago as the Lead CanSkate coach as well as a private lesson coach on the StarSkate and Intro to StarSlate sessions.
	Shelley Storace I have been active in Figure Skating since the age of seven and stated coaching at the age of seventeen. I have achieved a NCCP Level II certification. I currently sit on the Executive as the 2009/2010 Coach’s Representative. I have coached skaters of all from Canskate Beginners to STARSkate Gold Test. I have called Millbrook home for the past 10 years.
